Kevin Hwang is a novelist and internal medicine physician in Houston, where he sees patients and teaches residents. His academic work has appeared in leading medical journals. The Regression Strain, his debut novel, has garnered multiple awards and honors. He attended Rice University and The University of Texas Medical Branch. When not treating patients or writing, he can be found scribbling on index cards, rehabbing his nagging musculoskeletal injuries, and enjoying Tex-Mex or sushi with his family.
