T. Wayne Bloodworth, M.D. received his surgical training at Tulane University in New Orleans. He practiced gynecologic surgery in Las Vegas for several years before moving to his native Georgia. He further trained and specialized in cosmetic surgery, to which he limited his practice for the last decade.

Dr. Bloodworth retired from private practice and now devotes his full-time efforts to a non-profit center for victims of female genital mutilation.

He lives with his wife in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Bloodworth is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
