BOOK REVIEW: THE HIDDEN ASSASSINS
Inspector Jefe Javier Falcon is called in to investigate a gruesome murder. The victim is found faceless and severely mutilated. Parts of the body were burned off with acid and the hands were cut off. It is very clear that they wanted the body to be unidentifiable.
An explosion occurs in Seville and the region goes on alert. Much to everyone's surprise, a mosque is found in the basement of a devastated apartment building and many felt this explosion was due to terrorism.
Is it terrorism? Inspector Falcon is not so sure. The political pressure is on for the case to be solved. Falcon comes close to solving this case until he makes a most surprising discovery. What is it? Is the mutilated corpse connected somehow to this explosion? Is this only the beginning of something more to come?
Inspector Falcon is a professional at solving cases. He investigates one piece of the puzzle at a time until he can put them all together to solve this case.
This novel has a great plot, plenty of suspense and excellent character portrayals. There are also several subplots to keep the reader intrigued. Due to the many subplots the reader must really pay attention but they will be rewarded in the long run. This is good suspense novel so don't pass on it!
