BOOK REVIEW: THE FRANTIC WOMAN'S GUIDE TO FEEDING FAMILY AND FRIENDS:
Do any of you feel like your life is out of control and you just don't have enough time in a day? This book has to be one of the greatest all-in-one books to help with the time factor problem for anyone who is in charge of running a household.
Here are some of the topics covered in the book:
-- Two 14-day menu plans for each season of the year. Can you imagine that? What a great idea!
-- One-week menu plans that tell us what to do with all the leftover turkey and ham from holiday dinners
-- Grocery lists that give us all the ingredients needed for the upcoming dishes
-- Several quick recipes
-- Ideas for side dishes - This is great because how many times have you wondered what to have as a side dish?
Another helpful topic is "The Frantic Woman's Pantry". This tells us what to have in a pantry and how to keep it organized.
The reader will also find little inclusions throughout the book called "Basketful of Tips", "Pit Stop", "Frantic Woman Family Fun" and "Potful of Knowledge" which include many tidbits of helpful information.
Anyone in charge of running a household should not be without a copy of this book. It is an excellent resource to have available. Mary Jo Rulnick's goal in writing this book is to "help out fellow frantics and develop a system that plans out dinners two weeks at a time." She certainly has accomplished that goal with this very useful book. This book is highly recommended.
