BOOK REVIEW: POLTERGEIST
Ceclia Falwell is the poltergeist created by a group formed by Professor Gartner Tuckman of Pacific NW University. When the ghost appears to be getting too strong Harper Blaine is called in to be sure the experiment is being run correctly. Professor Gartner feels that one of the participants is somehow faking some of the results and he wants Blaine to discover the culprit.
Ever since a close brush with death Harper Blaine has been able to see and feel things other people canít. She calls it walking in the grey. Her friends Mara and Ben Danziger have helped her to come to an understanding of what has happened to her. Ben is a teacher and Mara is a witch. Ben referred professor Gartner to Blaine who he felt could be of some help with the project.
Mark Lupoldi is Gartnerís special assistant. He is also an employee of a book store that Harper frequents. When Mark fails to show up for the first session that Harper is observing she goes to hunt him down. She is shocked to discover that Mark is dead. There is no apparent weapon and his death is highly suspicious.
Harper calls on her friend Quinton to help out with technical questions. More and more strange things begin happening. Harper soon finds herself slipping into the grey to destroy a ghost.
Chaos the ferret is his usual feisty self. Harper needs to call in some tabs from a vampire too. Now Iím wondering what is in store for Harper next. Guess I will have to wait for the next book.
