BOOK REVIEW: BLOOD HUNT
Gordon Reeve is an ex-special forces soldier. He now runs a survival camp in Scotland. Gordon has one problem - he has a difficult time trying to control his anger.
Gordon is notified that his brother, Jim, has committed suicide. Jim was a journalist working in California. Even though you wouldn't call their relationship "close" Gordon has a hard time believing that Jim killed himself. Upon Gordon's arrival in the United States, he planned to investigate this situation.
There were several questions running through Gordon's mind that just didn't make any sense. Why was the car Jim's body was found in locked from the outside? Why was the local cop trying to stop Gordon from talking to a friend who was the last one to see Jim? Why would someone want Jim dead?
Gordon really began to wonder when he discovered that Jim was working on a story that involved a chemical company. Could someone from this company have wanted Jim dead to stop the report?
This investigation leads Gordon to more danger than he could have ever imagined and he is not able to hold his temper any longer as he tries to find the person who killed his brother.
Is Gordon successful at finding out what happened to Jim?
If you are looking for a fast paced novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this is the one for you! Ian Rankin takes the reader with him on this adventuresome journey to find out the truth about his brother. The story moves back and forth and the reader will want to turn the pages as quickly as possible to find out what happens. This one is highly recommended.
