BOOK REVIEW: THE WRONG HOSTAGE
Grace Silva is a California judge who was recently divorced from her billionaire husband, Ted Franklin.
Grace received a call indicating that she should report to the school her son, Lane, is attending in Ensenada, Mexico. This school is a prep school where many wealthy families send their children.
When Grace arrived at the school, it was not what she expected to see. When she saw armed guards present, Grace knew something was terribly wrong. Her son, Lane was being held hostage.
It seems that Ted double-crossed the drug lord Hector Rivas Osuna and stole millions of dollars. Osuna had one request. He wanted the money returned to him. There was one big problem. Ted was missing.
Grace knew the only person who could help her is an ex-lover, Joe Faroe. She spent a weekend with Joe many year's ago and at the time she married Ted, Grace was not too sure who the father of Lane really was although she suspected it was Ted.
What has happened to Ted? Are Grace and Joe able to save Lane's life?
Elizabeth Lowell has written a novel that is a real thriller from the very first page and doesn't let up throughout the book. The book is loaded with suspense and touches on a very emotional subject - something that no mother would want to see happen to her child. This novel is everything you would want in a book - fast paced, filled with action and unforgettable characters. This book is highly recommended.
