BOOK REVIEW: NOT EASILY BROKEN
Dave and Clarice Johnson seem to have everything going for them. This all changes when they had a devastating car accident. Clarice had a severe injury to her leg and the physical recovery is taking a toll on their marriage.
Through all of this, Clarice and Dave come to realize the differences that exist between them. As time goes on they are faced with many disappointments and expectations that do not happen.
To make matters worse, Clarice's therapist, Julie, has a friendship with Dave that is about to become more than that. Julie's son and Dave also have a mentoring relationship which doesn't help either.
Will Dave and Clarice fight to save their marriage?
This is a very enjoyable read. Bishop T.D. Jakes interjects his religious beliefs throughout the story and this will be a welcome read for Christians also. The author makes the reader feel the many emotions that Dave and Clarice are going through during this most difficult time. The characters are what make this book a great story. They are likeable and will remain with the reader for some time!
