Scott Finn believes in fair justice. If he believes someone is innocent, he will do all he can to help that person. One question - Is it worth his life?
Scott is now working as a solo practitioner and the majority of the cases deal with civil litigation, divorce law and criminal defense. Something happened one day that landed Scott a very important case and a dangerous one as far as his life is concerned.
In 1992, a policewoman is attacked and left for dead. She survives and accuses an El Savadorian immigrant, Vincente Salazar, who has ties to one of South America's most dangerous gangs. Salazar has now spent fifteen years in prison and new DNA evidence suggests he is the wrong man. Is he innocent?
Scott Finn and Detective Tom Kozlowski must now work together through everything that has happened in order to save this man's life if he is innocent. If Vincente Salazar is innocent, it means the police have lied in order to cover up the truth. Why would they do this?
Scott and Tom put their lives on the line in order to save a man who might be innocent. Will they have enough time to investigate everything and will they make it out of this alive?
