BOOK REVIEW: THE LUMBY LINES
Lumby is quite a different town when compared to the normal towns we know. The greatest pastime in this town is reading the Sheriff's report in the local paper. The original police department in this town consisted of one person, Sheriff Dumont.
Pam and Mark Walker have a plan to buy the town's neglected monastery with the intent of converting it into a historic inn. They begin their renovation project with the help of some of the former monks of the abbey and local residents.
Along the way, Pam and Mark run into several problems one of which includes the publisher of the local newspaper, The Lumby Lines. The Walkers start to discover many interesting things as they learn of the history of the monastery and find the "The Lumby Lines" hold many of the answers.
Are Mark and Pam successful at their project?
If you are looking for a book that is unique, this is the one for you. This book is filled with several creative characters throughout the book. You will be amazed by the great imagination of the author. You will read about the librarian who brings her three dogs to work, the monks who grow marijuana and the beavers who build a dam with $20 bills. The reader is in for a treat. This book is a delight to read and one that you will thoroughly enjoy.
