As Kristin Van Dijk a/k/a Baby Shark matures she has really mastered- the art of self defense. Since she has teamed up with Otis Millett, a private detective, it seems she needs to use her skills on a daily basis. Otis & Kristin have been hired to deliver the ransom for Savannah Smike. Savannah is the girlfriend of an Oklahoma bootlegger. Savannah is also the daughter of a bootlegger. That is enough in itself to cause problems.

In an attempt to ransom Savannah, Kristin and Otis find themselves involved in a mystery that leads to no end of violence. Kristen and Otis are targeted over and over without even knowing the reason.

Savannah is a beautiful red head and one character that you canít help but like and want to protect. The Smites are a family not to be forgotten. Baby Shark is at her best and even shoots a little pool once more.

The excitement is intense and builds to a terrific ending. Although the first two Baby Shark books were very well written and entertaining this one is the best yet. Donít miss all three.
